Rental Counseling

At ClearPoint Financial Solutions (dba ClearPoint Credit Counseling Solutions) housing specialists can guide you when preparing to rent a home or an apartment. Make sure your credit and finances are in order so you don’t get in over your head.  In addition, if you’re considering buying a home, we offer free credit counseling and homebuyer counseling.

Upon request, ClearPoint will assist you in understanding your rights determined by the federal Fair Housing/Equal Opportunity polices.  The United States Department of Urban Development (HUD) enforces these policies in the sale and rental of housing so that landlords, property managers and mortgage lenders may not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status or handicap. If you have tried to buy or rent a home or apartment and think your rights were violated, we’ll direct you in filing a fair housing complaint.
