Our clients may earn their certificates by taking our Pre-Bankruptcy Counseling via a Webinar, workshop (in select offices) or a one-on-one session.
Choose one of the following options to learn what topics will be covered, the price for the service and how the process works.
Any of these delivery options covers the same money management skills and will earn a certificate that meets the requirements of the bankruptcy reform legislation, BAPCPA for pre-filing credit counseling.
If you have an emergency filing and require On-Demand Pre-Bankruptcy Counseling, we offer that service as well.
The United States Trustee Program of the U.S. Department of Justice is responsible for overseeing the administration of bankruptcy cases and it consists of 21 regional U.S. Trustee Offices nationwide and an Executive Office for U.S. Trustees (EOUST) in Washington, DC.
The EOUST requires that anyone filing for bankruptcy receive two courses, and their respective certificates. ClearPoint is one such approved provider of pre-bankruptcy credit counseling.
