Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Treasurer

Gene has more than 20 years of financial experience in diverse industries. He came to ClearPoint in 2004 directly after serving as the controller and chief financial officer for an international telecommunications company. Prior to that, he worked in various related capacities including public accounting, auditing, and taxation.

He has a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a master’s degree in taxation from Virginia Commonwealth University. In 1989, he became a licensed certified public accountant (CPA) in the State of Virginia.

Gene manages all financial aspects of the company—from developing of the annual budget—to analyzing financial results and trends and ensuring federal and state compliance efforts.
